the Raven

But the Raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing farther then he uttered – not a feather then he fluttered —
Till I scarcely more than muttered "Other friends have flown before —
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
            Then the bird said "Nevermore."


One doesn’t need to be a literary illuminati to appreciate the visceral imagery of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven”, and now you need no longer rely on your mind’s eye to supply all of the dark details. These life-size ravens are sure to add a bit of life... ahem, interest to any room, whether they be ominously perched or silently soaring.
